Moving Mechanisms

Nine afternoon classes of fun exploring the world of hand-cranked automaton. We will use real tools and materials along with new skills to create whimsical machines that entertain and captivate. Students will bring their creativity to life in unexpected ways. They will come away with a new understanding of how machines work and a confidence to create their own.

 

Ages: Girls and Boys, 3rd - 5th grades.

Days: 9 Thursdays (March 26 - May 21).

Time: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Location: Huffman Elementary

Class size: 10 max

Cost: $225 (9 classes) Payment due at first class. Checks payable to Newton's Lab.
